Twelfth annual Salt and Light winners revealed

Catholic Charities has revealed the 2010 Communities of Salt and Light Award winners. They are:

Lifetime Achievement Award

Bishop Emeritus Anthony G. Bosco

Humanitarian Award

James R. Froelicher, St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish, Indiana

Philanthropy Award

Raymond and Elizabeth Hanley, St. Agnes Parish, North Huntingdon

Selections were made after a blind review by the Executive Committee of Catholic Charities Board of Trustees in conjunction with Bishop Lawrence E. Brandt using a calculated formula.

These good works can be either past or present, but must have been accomplished with the boundaries of the diocese. Their concern, whether wide ranging or specific, benefits human welfare and falls within the guidelines.

Please save the date and consider gathering with us during the 12th annual Communities of Salt and Light Awards Dinner
presented by Bishop Brandt April 22, 2010 at Stratigos Banquet Centre, North Huntingdon.
