During this transition year, anyone who has come into the Catholic school system or to ministry in evangelization and faith formation during or after the 2005-06 catechetical year will need to attend the orientation sessions.
How many courses does this level contain?
An orientation session will be scheduled at the beginning and ending of the catechetical year for all Catholic school personnel, catechists, youth ministry volunteers, and RCIA team members.
They will be scheduled at one location in each deanery in the diocese at a parish location that includes a school on its campus. There will be two sessions of each orientation session, one after school, and one in the evening, to be as convenient as possible for catechists.
The after school session will be more school focused in nature, the evening session will have more of a parish focus, however, faith formation and school personnel are free to attend either after school or in the evening.
How long are the courses?
Two hours in the fall and two hours in the spring.
