OWA—Sharing or requesting someone to share tasks, address books or calendars

You can share an address book, calendar or task list by following this tutorial. The first step is to open OWA and select the item on the left that you wish to share. In this example, we will share our calendar, but the process and options are the same for tasks and the address book.

Right click on the Calendar and choose Share This Calendar...

Now send what looks like an email but is actually a sharing request. You specify the person you are sending the request to and share All Information from your calendar. Check the box to request permission to view the recipient's Calendar folder. When all this is done, you can send the request.

The recipient will now receive an email where they can choose to either accept to decline your request to view their calendar. They will also have access to view your calendar. OWA's calendar sharing is not as featured as Outlook. If your recepient needs different permissions for the calendar, like the ability to make appointments for you, please use Outlook or contact the Help Desk.
