Outlook—Using the Advanced Search
In Outlook 2007, you can search using various criteria for searching.

To conduct an advanced search, go to Tools, then Actions, then Advanced Find. If you prefer, you can use the keyboard short-cut CONTROL + SHIFT + F.

In the advanced find, you can be more specific in your search criteria and even specify the type of object (Appointments, Messages, To-Dos, etc). When your criteria is selected, you can choose Find Now.
Your results will show up in that windows and you can double click on any object to open it up. You can now use the advanced search features of Outlook 2007.
