Part-Time Business Manager
Location: The Divine Redeemer School, Ford City, PA
Join our Catholic community as a Business Manager providing financial leadership and administrative support for The Divine Redeemer School in Ford City. This key position oversees fiscal operations, including budget planning, accounting services, and payroll coordination, to maintain financial stability and support educational excellence.
The successful candidate will collaborate with school administration, Office of Catholic Schools, Diocesan Finance Office, and Board of Pastors to prepare annual budgets, analyze income, and provide strategic financial guidance. Primary responsibilities include maintaining accounts using PDS Ledger Program, processing payments, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance. The role also encompasses processing payroll, coordinating new hire paperwork, processing employee changes, managing compliance records, and serving as a liaison between Diocesan offices and school employees.
Additional duties include managing the tuition database registration and collections, overseeing cafeteria financial reporting, maintaining confidential personnel and family records, coordinating maintenance supply ordering, and providing administrative support for insurance, safety, and legal matters. The position requires preparing tax documents, conducting monthly reconciliations, and maintaining financial records in accordance with diocesan standards.
We seek candidates with accounting or business experience, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in accounting software. Strong attention to detail and confidentiality are essential. This position reports to the Principal and Superintendent of Catholic Schools and offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our educational mission.
