Job Description
Greensburg Central Catholic Junior-Senior High School, a Catholic School within the Diocese of
Greensburg, is seeking a full-time Principal who will serve as the educational leader of the
school, reporting directly to the Superintendent of Catholic Schools. The qualified candidate will
be a practicing Catholic who understands and is dedicated to the ministry of Catholic Education.
The collaborative leader will actively foster the Catholic identity of the school by promoting
Catholic values, nurturing the faith formation and spirituality of faculty, staff and students, while
embracing the mission and vision of the Diocese of Greensburg.
The Principal must be committed to academic and educational excellence and maintaining and
fostering an environment where learning and living the Catholic faith are the focal points for the
establishment of an exemplary educational program that maximizes the growth and development
of each student. The ideal candidate will possess a commitment to the highest standards of
servant leadership in regard to enrollment and retention of students, governance, finance,
marketing, development, alumni, and evangelization.
Qualified candidates must have a Master’s degree in a field related to educational administration,
Principal Certification, or the qualifications to obtain certification, at least five years of
successful teaching experience, and a letter of support from his/her pastor. For full consideration,
