School Counselor – Two positions (one full-time and one-part-time)

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Greensburg seeks qualified applicants to provide counseling services to students in Diocesan Schools in support of the mission of Catholic Charities and the Diocese of Greensburg.
There are two positions available. A full-time position and a part-time (24 hours per week) position. When applying please indicate if you are applying for one indicating which one or applying for both positions.
The selected candidate will be expected to provide counseling services and accept cases as assigned; interview and support students for the purpose of obtaining information upon which to base treatment plans; assist in guiding students’ academic, behavioral, and social growth; Counseling must be align with the teachings of the Catholic Church, emphasize moral fortitude and be based on Catholic, Christian ethics.
The selected candidate will report to and work with the Director of Counseling Services to review and update counseling service plans.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, School Counseling, or a related field is required; license or license eligible in Pennsylvania; Possess or eligible to sit for testing for a PA School Counselor certification is preferred; Act 33/34 clearances; must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance coverage.
A master’s degree in social work, School Counseling, or a related field is preferred.
