The Diocese of Greensburg seeks qualified applicants for our school resource officer positions. Full Time and Part Time Positions located at each of our 12 Catholic Schools are available.
Qualified applicants must have Act 235 certification, have successfully completed basic training as required by MPOTEC or have been Honorably Discharged from the Pennsylvania State Police, and have a minimum of 10 years of full-time law enforcement experience.
Qualified applicants must be able to communicate and act in a manner that conforms with both the Catholic principles schools operate under and appropriate methods of interaction with students and staff in a school environment.
In addition, qualified applicants must have or be willing to obtain NASRO Basic School Resource Officer Course certification or equivalent and have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.
Prior to employment, potential hires will be required to obtain their FBI Fingerprint Clearance, State Criminal History Clearance, and PA Child Abuse Clearance in addition to completing required Mandated Reporter Training and Protection of God’s Children Training.
