Candidates should have knowledge of principles, theories, methods, techniques, and strategies pertaining to teaching and instruction of secondary level science. The candidate will be able to plan, organize, develop, and conduct a comprehensive teaching and instruction science program for pupils at the secondary level by providing appropriate and effective learning experiences for students with a variety of learning needs, while effectively assessing the instructional and educational needs of all learners. The candidate will design, develop, and implement sound instructional and educational science aligned with standards and should be dynamic, excited to work in a Catholic school, and able to provide a motivating and stimulating learning environment for all students. Lastly, we are looking for an individual that is eager to collaborate with the science department, open to professional development, and will continuously grow and reflect in their profession and instructional practices.
