“The Art of Accompaniment” Workshop

The Diocese of Greensburg, in partnership with the Institute for Ministry Formation, invites you to join “The Art of Accompaniment,” a workshop with Kristin Molitor and Benedictine Father Boniface Hicks, Wednesday-Friday, June 19-21, at Christ Our Shepherd Center, Greensburg. The art of accompaniment is foundational for everything in the life of a parish, from hospitality to pastoral care evangelization and catechesis. Learning this art will multiply fruitfulness. Participants will learn the basic principles of accompaniment, including the value of intentional listening to help foster transformative conversations and cultivate genuine relationships centered around Christ, as well as developing a deeper understanding of the interior life and the dynamics of growth in spiritual life. Participants will have the chance to receive personalized accompaniment and practice accompaniment using a spiritual Inventory developed by Father Boniface. Cost is $50 per person and includes lunch.
