Diocese of Greenburg’s NEW Parish and Diocesan Database

The Diocese of Greensburg is in the process of migrating from Parish Data System (PDS), its current Catholic Church data management software solution, to a new technological solution called Ministry Platform. Ministry platform is a cloud-based, single-source database with a mobile-friendly app. Ministry Platform has the capability for high scalability and growth, which will accommodate parishes of all sizes within the Diocese. Ministry platform also contains communications and development tools to allow for parishes to more effectively communicate with their parishioners. This will better enable the Diocese to administer and grow with parishes in a world of ever evolving technological needs.

Deployment

The Diocese informed and met with its users regarding this migration. The migration from PDS to Ministry Platform will be deployed in slow waves in order to allow parishes ample time to prepare their data for migration.
