The Diocese Catholic Committee on Scouting invites all Catholic Scouts and their units and families to a celebration of Catholic Scouting. A Convocation Mass will be held at 3:00 PM celebrated by Bishop Larry J. Kulick, J.C.L. Bishop Kulick is an Eagle Scout and has served as a Chaplain at Camp Conestoga when in seminary formation. He is very supportive of Scouting and particularly our Catholic Chartered Scout units. Bishop Kulick sees great benefit in the religious emblem programs and additional offerings made available to Catholic scouts and families through the diocesan and national committees. Information about these programs for both Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA will be available.
It is important that all Catholic chartered units be represented at the Convocation. All scouts and families are invited regardless of affiliation. A cookie social will follow.
