Listed below are the former churches of the Diocese of Greensburg and their successor parishes. For inquiries about parish records, please contact the successor parishes. The locations of some parish records have not been confirmed. These parishes are indicated with an asterisk (*).
A few special cases exist:
- Records prior to 1937 from the Rimer Mission in Madison Township are located at St. Mary of Mercy Parish in Pittsburgh.
- St. George Maronite Church in Uniontown is not closed; however, because the Maronite Church has its own bishop, this parish is no longer associated with the Diocese of Greensburg. St. George Maronite Church houses its own records.
- SS. Cosmas and Damian Parish in Seminole was attended to by the Diocese of Erie. Although it is not confirmed that they hold the parish records, it is recommended that they be contacted for inquiries.
