​Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Greensburg seeks qualified applicants for the position of Office Specialist. 

The selected candidate will serve as the clerical support person for the Catholic Charities Office and the Managing Director of Catholic Charities.

Qualified applicants must have:

  • a minimum of three years of diverse clerical experience
  • the ability to work effectively with clients and to respect confidentiality
  • strong communication skills; both verbal and written
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • an ability to learn specialized software
  • the ability to work independently and to multi-task
  • an understanding of the Catholic faith  

Prior experience in and knowledge of the medical billing process and prior experience working in a client support environment is preferred.

Director of Counseling ServicesCatholic Charities of the Diocese of GreensburgCatholic Charities4/6/2022

The Diocese of Greensburg seeks qualified applicants for the position of Director of Counseling Services. 

The Director supervises all clinical staff in their provision of counseling services and assigns all counseling cases. The director also provides counseling services directly, as the schedule permits, and uses their clinical skills in order to maintain optimal quality of service by provision of education, consultation, and administrative expertise necessary for the supervision of assigned therapists and/or assigned programs. 

This position is part of a team of directors under the leadership of the Managing Director to coordinate, plan, develop and implement policy and procedures and meet established goals necessary to sustain the mission of Catholic Charities and the Diocese of Greensburg. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy, with at least three years' work experience and two years at a supervisory level; license in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy; Act 33/34 clearances; insurance credentials with major insurers; minimum five years counseling experience in a mental health setting and two years supervisory experience must have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage.

Information and Referral CaseworkerCatholic Charities of the Diocese of GreensburgCatholic Charities3/18/2022

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Greensburg seeks qualified applicants for the position of Information and Referral Caseworker.

The selected candidate, reporting to the Director of Information and Referral, will accept intake calls and requests for service, provide short-term supportive and interventive service to clients on an emergency basis and provide initial assessment of the client’s needs/request and recommend appropriate service.


Qualified applicant must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related Human Services field from an accredited college or university; Master’s Degree preferred
  • A minimum of two years human services experience
  • A valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage
  • Certification as an information and referral specialist through AIRS must be obtained after one year of employment at no cost to the employee
