As part of our 75th anniversary celebrations, join the Diocese of Greensburg and Bishop Larry J. Kulick on a special pilgrimage to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C.

Pilgrimage Itinerary
The day includes:
Charter bus pick-up from various locations around Diocese (at least one in each county). More information on exact departure location will be provided closer to pilgrimage.
General Schedule:
11:00 AM – Buses arrive at National Shrine
11:30 AM – 1:30 PM – Boxed Lunches will be available from the Shrine Cafe
2:00 PM – Mass of Thanksgiving with Bishop Kulick
5:00 PM – Transportation to Catholic University of America for Buffet Dinner
6:00/6:30 PM – Departure for Home
Time will be provided throughout the day for exploring the Basilica, with particular chapels and patronages special to the Diocese of Greensburg highlighted, praying the Diocese of Greensburg Heritage Rosary, as well as opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Special Note: During our pilgrimage, the National Shrine will be hosting the Relics of Saint Bernadette Soubirous and the Lourdes Immersive Experience. The relics of Saint Bernadette, to whom Our Lady declared “I am the Immaculate Conception,” will be available for veneration, and the Chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes will contain an immersive experience similar to the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes in France where pilgrims can touch the rock that makes up the grotto and experience water from Lourdes.
